DHOP’s Vision

Key Ministry Verse

Approving ourselves as ministers of God… By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left.”

– II Corinthians 6:4-7

DHOP’s Vision

We believe it is imperative to equip leaders to demonstrate the righteousness of God in power and in Spirit. Once leaders have been activated with an understanding of their righteousness, they become empowered to do the works of Jesus.

Our vision:

  1. Communicate to the saints the knowledge of their righteousness in Christ and equip them to demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost.
  2. Equip the saints for the work of the ministry and teach believers a lifestyle of learning that they may grow in the knowledge of God.
  3. Impacting the community proactively by meeting their physical and spiritual needs.
  4. Raise up leaders with a desire to start additional churches in conformance with DHOP’s vision.

DHOP’s Objectives

Our objectives are to develop a lifestyle of ongoing study and growth for all members of our church. We believe it is crucial that each church member realizes they are a minister of the gospel and are responsible for sharing Christ.

Our objectives:

  1. To train up believers in the knowledge of their righteousness in Christ and demonstrate the power of God by the leading of the precious Holy Spirit. The foundation of the church will be prayer and as a result, the church is aptly named the Denver House of Prayer (DHOP).
  2. To make available resources and teaching in accordance with our vision: via internet, seminars, in-house teaching, media and bible studies.
  3. To demonstrate Christianity in action by active community outreach. We are to witness as we travel, study, eat, work and play. Christianity is not meant to be a compartmentalized way of life, realizing that every saint is a minister of the gospel in their workplace, social settings and at home.
  4. To develop maturity of the saints as we strive to maximize their gifts and callings.
