The Danger of UFO’s

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“I’m going to talk about a topic that quite frankly will not only surprise you but might cause you to think I’m losing my marbles. I’m talking about UFO’s. Now UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object as I’m sure you’re aware but there’s something very salient I wish to point out about all UFO sightings, they occur in the air; and more on that shortly. In the United States alone there are approximately 7,000 UFO sightings reported each year according to the National UFO Reporting Center but one must also consider that for every sighting that’s reported perhaps there are three times as many that go unreported.  This flood of sightings really began in 1947, coincidentally right around the time the nation of Israel was established, which is a marker for the end times. The flying saucer story really began on June 24, 1947, when a private pilot, Kenneth Arnold, who was taking part in a search for a missing transport aircraft, saw nine disc-shaped objects….” – Pastor Carl

Noah’s Flood

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“Friend, let me begin by stating that in 500 cultures around the world, each and every one of them has an historical account of a flood and these are independent records I might add.

I will name a few of them for you in a moment. But what does the National Geographic Magazine have to say about Noah’s flood? Well in the article,” Ballard and The Black Sea: The Search for Noah’s Flood”, they wrote and I quote, “Almost every culture on Earth includes an ancient flood story. Details vary, but the basic plot is the same: The Deluge kills all but a lucky few….. In fact friend if we go down the list, we find there are 35 nations which have intricate historical records of worldwide floods under many different names, including: – China, Babylon, Wales, Russia, India, America, Hawaii, Scandinavia, Sumatra, Peru, and Polynesia all having their own versions of a great flood.” – Pastor Carl

DHOP Vision Statement

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“When I was in Bible College, several years back now, I felt a strong urge after going on a retreat in the Ozark Mountains that one day I would start a church within the Downtown Denver city limits and this desire has never waned. Now Downtown Denver has been a tough nut to crack for many Spirit filled churches down the years, trying to make a lasting impact in the city. When Denver went from boom to bust in the oil price slump of 1986, many churches left the city and never returned. Back in the day many vibrant denominational churches simply closed their doors and shut up shop, leaving only cathedrals. However since the turn of this century Denver has been in a steady and progressive boom cycle with the downtown area experiencing enormous investiture and architectural renewal that we can all admire. However, I don’t believe the spiritual needs of this city have been catered for in proportion with this explosive measure of economic and architectural growth.” – Pastor Carl

The Olivet Discourse

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“Now what’s surprising is that many people look for the rapture of the church in the Olivet Discourse but you won’t find it. Remember the church wasn’t founded until the Day of Pentecost in Acts chapter two in the upper room in Jerusalem. Neither the church nor the rapture are found in these chapters about the end times, because the Church was not founded until after this message was delivered to Israel following their rejection of Christ as Messiah. However, I do believe we’ll see the first nine verses of this passage (Matthew chapter 24) in the run up to the rapture and in these nine verses, Jesus describes events that have been witnessed already within the church age. Remember, the only reference Jesus made to the rapture is in John 14:1-4 as I said before, when Jesus said He would go and prepare a place for us and come again and receive us unto himself. That ‘coming again’ is the rapture of the church.” – Pastor Carl

The Dangers of Buddhism

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“Now, it’s is estimated that about 6% of the World’s population are practicing Buddhist’s, which would equate to about 420 million people across the globe. The precise number of followers is difficult to ascertain because of Buddhism’s ability to assimilate itself into any culture and subsequently influence that culture’s underlying beliefs. Primarily Buddhism is practiced mostly in the nations of Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Laos, Taiwan, China, Japan, Mongolia, Tibet, Bhutan, Vietnam and finally Hong Kong. But friend it’s also on the rise within this nation and Europe. It influences more people than you think, especially within the celebrity circus. Let me give you a list now of some celebrities who practice Buddhism and you might be surprised at some of these:- These would include, Jennifer Anniston, Orlando Bloom, Angelina Jolie, John Cleese, Richard Gere, George Lucas, Courtney Love, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, Brad Pitt, Oliver Stone, Steve Wynn, Mark Zuckerberg, Keanu Reeves, Steve Jobs, Patrick Duffy and finally Penelope Cruz.” – Pastor Carl

Why I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“The tribulation period is compared to the times of Noah and Lot by Jesus in Luke 17:26-28. The two circumstances that Noah and Lot shared were the removal of the righteous and subsequent judgment of the wicked in their dispensation. Noah and his family were removed in an Ark and Lott’s family escaped from Sodom and Gomorrah by angels after Abraham interceded for them. Abraham acted like a type of Christ in this instance because he petitioned God for the righteous in the city. This is called ‘setting a precedent’ in scripture or the ‘law of first mention.’ Once a precedent is set, God is not capricious friend and does not change His mind or the way he does things. These examples serve as a typology for the removal of the godly into safety and future judgments upon the ungodly, resulting in destruction.” – Pastor Carl

Margaret Sanger of Planned Parenthood

Here’s a teaching snippet:

The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members… is to kill it.”…Who on earth would say such a thing? And why?… Friend, I want you to pay close attention today because I’m going to share some information with you concerning the origin of Planned Parenthood and more precisely the woman who started it. You might get quite upset after hearing this message today because of the inflammatory rhetoric espoused by this ungodly woman I’m about to quote several times and the genocidal movement she spawned in the early part of the 20th century. Now, this lady is none other than Margaret Sanger and let me start out by quoting her from an interview right before her death, she said, “the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into this world who have disease, or no chance, being delinquents and prisoners…that to me is the greatest sin.” Well what does God have to say about children friend?…” – Pastor Carl

Are you a worrier?

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“Friend, let me ask you, are you a worrier? Do you worry often? Are you always thinking about tomorrow and regretting the things of yesterday?

Let me share some alarming facts and statistics with you about worry and the potential damage it might be having upon your psyche and ultimately your physical body. Now, according to the medical journals, 1 in 20 of us suffer from generalized anxiety order at some stage in our life and what’s interesting is that anxiety does not discriminate by age but can manifest itself in multiple ways in either gender or any race. In a recent study it found that as baby boomers get older, 66% worry about gaining weight, 30% worry about losing hair, 28% worry about getting facial wrinkles and 24% worry about getting gray hair. What’s not commonly known to most people however is the hormonal effect, worry can have on the body.” – Pastor Carl

The Coming One World Religion

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“Friend there’s a venomous lie sown within the fabric of today’s’ society that all religions worship the same God and that Christ has revealed himself in many different religious forms to all cultures around the world.

Subsequently, the Global hatred and persecution for the true Christian faith is on the rise and even within this nation. Liberal leaders within groups such as the World Council of Churches even have the audacity to call evangelical activity of any kind, both ‘arrogant’ and ‘anti-cultural’, based on this false ecumenical premise, that all religions worship the same God. The truth is friend; all religions do NOT worship the same God. The only one and true God is Yahweh, whose earthly incarnation was his son Jesus Christ, who was also pre-incarnate and became the perfect living sacrifice, sent to redeem humanity from impending judgment and the everlasting fire to come.” – Pastor Carl

Are Catholics Christians?

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“There are approximately 1.1 billion Catholics worldwide and I sincerely believe there are true believers in Christ that reside within its organization no doubt. Many of them love God and God loves them, but it’s the doctrines and leadership we will address today.

Did you know the term Catholic, comes from the Greek word “katholikos” which means ‘universal.’

Friend, the greatest threat to true Christianity today is the repression of biblical truth for the sake of unity but unfortunately this is the ecumenical path many churches have gone down, but not this church. The Papacy’s Vatican II Ecumenical Council in the mid 1960’s was where these heretical decrees toward ecumenicity were formulated.” – Pastor Carl
