Justification vs. Glorification

Here’s a teaching snippet:

“Today we’re talking about the difference between being ‘justified’ and ‘glorified.’ Now you might say who cares Pastor? But what I’m about to share with you is rudimentary orthodox Christian doctrine. These are tenets of the faith that you must be aware of! The focus of our discussion will be Romans Chapters 6-8. Here the Apostle Paul reveals the perpetual vacillation between our flesh and spirit, the various temptations we encounter and God’s limitless grace to overcome them. Let’s start our broadcast today with Deuteronomy chapter 32 which is a powerful passage that reveals God’s righteousness, “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: For all his ways are judgment: A God of truth and without iniquity, Just and right is he.” God’s righteousness is immutable; He is ‘the Rock’ upon which we stand! He’s someone you can count upon. He’s stable, He never changes, He can be trusted and He is for you, not ‘against’ you (Rom 8:31). God is not a respecter of persons; He is fair; in fact He’s the ultimate definition of fair. What He’s done for one He will do for another.” – Pastor Carl
