Here’s a takeway from Pastor Carl Joseph’s DHOP vision: “My goal is to shake this city from spiritual apathy into a shining beacon for God’s power in this last day move of the Holy Spirit.”

Equipping leaders to demonstrate the righteousness of God in power and in Spirit

What is this church’s focus and what can you expect?

Our mission is to win the lost and activate believers in the knowledge of their righteousness and empower them to do the works of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Body of Christ is lacking knowledge of their true identity, rights, and privileges in Christ Jesus. In the model that Christ outlined, we are to learn and then do, not just learn. This foundational concept has been mostly lost in today’s church, which has become more of a learning center. DHOP is committed to your growth in the Lord.

If you’re a Christian who breathes and has a pulse, then you have been called to do something awesome for God. We’re going to help you both find out what that is and determine how to accomplish it. We are seeking team members of all shapes, sizes and colors that have a passion for the Lord and want to serve. Perfect people need not apply.

Our commitment to you…

  1. Stand together in faith through purposeful prayer and demonstration of God’s power
  2. Develop a Christ-centered community founded upon discipleship
  3. Come alongside and enable you to overcome your personal challenges and hindrances in a confidential environment

Our commitment to the community…

  1. Consistently invest into missions, both foreign and domestic
  2. Actively contribute to the community through charitable drives, outreaches and evangelistic efforts
  3. Build home group bible studies to foster fellowship, growth and accountability
